Emergency Instructions

Please review the Emergency Instructions PDF before you arrive to the Reserve.

Fire is one of the biggest safety concern on the Reserve. In the case that Reserve personnel are not on-site during your visit, you should be aware of all necessary evacuation procedures. These are detailed in the Emergency Instructions.

An other safety concern is rattlesnakes, which are present on the Reserve. Please be mindful of them on trails and avoid contact with them. If you encounter a rattlesnake it is best to move slowly away from it and avoid fast movement. Greater danger is likely should you try to move or harm the snake. DO NOT perform such activities.

Should you have any concerns or questions, please contact the Director of Research, Gary Bucciarelli.
